Riccardo Roiter Rigoni, photographer

Born in 1979 in Venice Lido, he discovered a passion for photography in 2001. The unbreakable connection with “The golden island” has meant that the beaches and the sea of the native island, represented in different seasons and times of day, are among the favorite subjects of his shots. The artist has directed the photographic part of several books, including “Corsi e fresche passeggiate sull’acqua in laguna” by Marina Crivellari Bizio, “Giardini di memorie” by Regina Bonometto.

Since 2003, many of his photographs were published in the magazine “Lido di oggi, Lido di allora”, in the historical volume “Lido of Venice, today and in history” and in locally and nationally newspapers and magazines. Author of the book of photographs “'Venice Sensation” and collaborator of the magazine “Granviale, Venice Lido and Islands magazine”. Winner of photo contest organized by the cultural “Il chiostro” in Venice titled “Sant’Elena, la natura, la vita, la gente” and the national photographic competition organized in the town of San Pietro in Gu (Padua) which has the theme “Il tempo” (the weather). Since 2005 Riccardo is collaborating with the web-site www.venessia.com edited by Stefano Soffiato.
