Sporting activities

During the summer our beaches offer a wide range of sports and leisure to practice outdoors, in contact with the nature of the site. In addition to water sports organized by professionals, there are other activities aimed at consumers with extensive of any age group, which play the physical activity of individuals or groups surrounded by soothing views of the sea.

  • Diving Center - Scuba school

    The Freetime company is a consolidated organization in the topic of diving. The Scuba School, an ANDI Training Facility provides the possibility of following courses at various ANDI and IANTD levels, while the Diving Center arranges trips to the typical sand bars off the coast and visits to some wrecks in the Gulf of Venice.

  • Sailing and rowing

    During the summer on the Excelsior and Des Bains beaches, you can give yourself the joy of living the sea by hiring windsurf boards and sailing boats, with or without an instructor, going for trips and seeing the coastline from another angle. Individual and collective courses can also be arranged for children and adults on single-hull boats or catamarans. There are also one or two-seater canoes and enjoyable paddle-boats.

  • Swimming

    Professional instructors are giving lessons in the splendid scenario of the Hotel Excelsior swimming pool to adults and children over four years. The courses, which are held in the summer, are taken by graduates in “human movement studies” with the appropriate specialization for instructing children.

  • Beach soccer - Beach volley - Beach tennis

    In the Des Bains beach, there are two, equipped multi-purpose sports ground for matches of beach soccer, beach volley or beach tennis.

  • Tennis

    The historic Tennis Club, founded in 1928, is as elegant as ever with its five red earth tennis courts on which a large number of international tournaments have taken place during the course of the years. You can also get to the Tennis Club, where there are catering facilities, from the Excelsior Beach.
