Sunday, September 2nd, 2012. On the Excelsior Beach models have created an original event. Indian brocade, silk hand-painted vintage jersey & blades ... clothing realized by the atelier ''Raptus & Rose'' made an elegant catwalk at the Hotel Excelsior in occasion of the 69th Venice Film Festival. The clothing, unique and unrepeatable, born from old garments, take their individual and present form, something that only the ''bespoke'' can do.

Leo Krumbacher and Grazia, a never ending story... The photo-shooting, realized between Excelsior and Des Bains Beach, shows an artist in constant research to give to the viewer the feeling of intimacy surprising. This is combined with the aesthetic vision of the photographer to expose the natural beauty of women.
Leo likes to photograph sensitive beauty, as well as the development of a real fashion history through images.

The Outdoor Fendi Collection was present at Venice Lido with some of the most exclusive lines, which express the craftsmanship, the whole "Made in Italy", in a contemporary design. On the occasion of the 68th edition of the Venice Film Festival, Fendi Casa has furnished the Film Room, an elegant and impressive space in the garden of the Hotel Excelsior directly facing the beach, designed to welcome guests and media.

The Excelsior beach in occasion of the 68th edition of the Venice Film Festival, was the most sought location for events of this Festival 2011. A tensile structure, installed for the occasion directly on sand in front of the historic Hotel, has allowed the same beach to be the heart of social events, like the opening and closing party of the Film Festival, the show Venezia Fashion Night and the Unicef gala dinner.

Venice Lido, Saturday, September 3rd, 2011. In a fairytale setting, on the Excelsior Beach, in front of the homonymous hotel, the event “Venezia Fashion Night” took place, unique for format and location. It was the triumph of prêt-à-porter for an autumn/winter just around the corner with the collections of international fashion designers: Alberta Ferretti, Blumarine, Krizia, Laura Biagiotti, Moschino, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood.

Fashion designer André Badi has set on the Excelsior beach photo shoot for the launch of the spring-summer 2011 collection. The mood of the press campaign was to create the illusion of being in a time machine in which the past, present and future coexist in harmony throughout the collection. Inspired by nature, time and form, this collection offers bright colors and light as air.

Venice Lido, Wednesday, August 31st. Between glamour and quality cinema has started the 68th edition of the Venice International Film Festival. An event that opens up with positive atmosphere thanks to the flash mob ''Say Yes'' organized by Nastro Azzurro directly on the Excelsior Beach;

Excelsior beach. Vittoria Puccini, godmother of the 68th edition of the Venice International Film Festival, was photographed on the beach. At the Palazzo del Cinema on the stage of the Sala Grande, she will be the star of the opening ceremony which will be premiered "The Ides of March", the film written and directed by George Clooney.

August 2011, Des Bains beach. Thanks to the support of Istituto Romeno di Cultura e Ricerca Umanistica di Venezia, the Romanian artist Dan Acostioaei, has created a series of interventions in which six characters, dressed up in office suits, contemplate the nature and the objects created by man. On the background, two very different locations sharing the same name: Venice Lake in Iasi, Romania, areas with few known and Venice Lido, known for its cultural complexity.

Saturday, July 30th, 2011. The Des Bains beach has discovered the taste of glamour and catwalks, on a day in which color and fashion blended together. Directly on the beach, the Venetian artist Elena Tagliapietra, ‘make-up artist & body painter’, was engaged to paint the bodies of participants in the contest Miss Blumare 2011, beauty contest that was held the same evening in Lepanto Street in Venice Lido.

July 2011, Quattro Fontane beach. Bright colors and the attendance of the “young” players of the advertising campaign of United Colors of Benetton Kids, spring-summer collection 2012 have characterized the first three days of this summer month. A natural set in a young, dynamic and elegant location.

March 2011. For the next fall and winter collection of ''Beatrice B'', the photographer Maurizio Melozzi chose to shoot the ad campaign of the brand in the setting of the Hotel Excelsior and its famous beach. The mood of the press campaign was evoking the visit of a diva in a sleeping hotel, which has seen thousands of VIPs passing by. The service was filmed in March, when the hotel, still closed to the public, has left pristine traces of the winter just ended.

September 2008. The beautiful South African actress Charlize Theron, after being greeted by a delirious crowd waiting for the red carpet of "The Burning Plain" at the 65th edition of the Venice Film Festival, greeted everyone breaks out with a surfboard on the waves of our beach.

Excelsior Beach, summer 2010. The famous designer from Milan, Castagna, has made the photo shoot of the new version of the Fiat 500 Tender Two, brand new model inspired by handmade versions of the '60s, particularly suitable for seaside resort thanks to the interiors and brackish water resistant. Special designed just for lovers of sun and beach.

Excelsior Beach. September 2006, 63rd edition of the Venice Film Festival. The godmother Isabella Ferrari, actress from Piacenza, who in the 1995 won the price “Coppa Volpi” for her performance in "Romance of a poor young man", is photographed in the famous beach of fine golden sand.

September 2007, 64th edition of the Venice Film Festival. Excelsior Beach. Ambra Angiolini, takes pictures on the famous beach of fine golden sand. The actress, who has presented the inauguration ceremony as godmother, has dressed throughout the Film Festival with Giorgio Armani collection.
